City Center
Vire is a city located in north-west of France at one hour of the Mont Saint Michel. In the middle age it was a little town where peligrims stoped before going to Mont Saint Michel. During the world war two Vire was destroyed over 95% by the bombardement of Great Britain in Normandy. Today there are 13,000 people living in Vire. Every year there is some festival in Vire like the teenager festival or the virevolté. There is a culinary speciality : the andouille which is composed with a part of the bowel of porc. Vire is in a Partnership with Baunatal since 1983.
